It's Official...

...Jason's O-L-D! We celebrated his 30th birthday last weekend. I've been laying it on pretty thick with a lot of teasing about the fact that he's now old. I figure I better take advantage of it while I can; I'm not too far behind him!

I was pretty excited when I found this very fitting birthday card:

For his birthday two years ago, I got him the Cuisinart Grind n' Brew which we have since discovered is the most amazing non-espresso coffee maker ever created. He was pretty sad to have to leave it behind when we moved over here and now routinely asks, "Remember how great my coffee maker back home is?" So, for his birthday this year, I got him this:

It's a generic version of the nice one he has at home, but since we can't take it back with us when we leave, I wasn't going to shell out the extra money for a nice one. We've already noticed several extreme design flaws in this one, but it does the trick and will get him through until next summer when we will hopefully return to all the "comforts of home".

To further celebrate the day, we met up with friends at a local pub known for its pizza. It wasn't Boiler Market Pitcher and a Pie quality, but it was definitely some of the best pizza I've had in Cambridge.

Happy Birthday Jason!
