Happy Holidays!
As they say in England, Happy Christmas to all our friends and family! Jason and I are enjoying a wonderful holiday season with our families. Some of you may remember that last Christmas I left Jason in Cambridge all by himself and headed home to meet my new niece and nephew. I am very happy to report that this year's travels have gone much more smoothly.
Our first stop was in Idaho to visit my family. Can you believe that these two little babies I saw last year...
...are now these two?!

We had the best visit home in recent memory. It was really relaxing with lots of time to just hang out with family. Jason and I stayed with my brother and his wife and had a great time waking up each morning to play with Reagan. Thanks for having us guys!

Meanwhile, my parents weren't left out of the fun because we were also lucky enough to have Kari, Ryan, and Devin in town to visit.

The day before we had planned to celebrate Christmas, we ran into a minor problem when the faucet at my parents' house sprung a leak, rendering it out-of-order. Luckily, with a little help, the guys were able to get it working again.

Our Christmas celebration was filled with lots of playing and way too much food. Devin helped us all open our presents, while Reagan managed to sleep through the festivities. None the wiser, she was very excited to wake up to a new "truck" from Grandpa and Grandma.

No one knows why she's come to the definitive decision that this is a truck, all we know is that she loves it.
Reagan is definitely one smart cookie and she kept us on our toes the entire time we were there. Here she is intently reading one of her favorite books.

She and Uncle Jason also developed their own way of communicating in the short time we were there...
Needless to say, Reagan and Devin had us wrapped around their little fingers from the moment we arrived. We were definitely sad to say goodbye, but it helped that we were off to see more family in Ohio.
We're now in Columbus, visiting Jason's family. We had a small glitch in our travels when some freezing rain caused us to miss a connection in Chicago, but we were only about 10 hours late getting here, so we're not complaining too much. Since we arrived, we've had a Christmas Eve party at Jason's parents' house and more Christmas day festivities with Jason's dad's side of the family. Tomorrow (after I hit the Day-After-Christmas sales...50% off at Lucky!!) we'll celebrate with his mom's side. Sunday, we have plans to get brunch and see the play SantaLand Diaries, and Monday Terry and I are off to the spa! As you can imagine, our trip visit is going way too fast!
We hope you are all enjoying your families as much as we are this year. Love to you all!
