More cheese please!
One of our favorite snacks is Frigo String Cheese. Jason usually eats one or two sticks of this cheese per day.
Being that we eat so much of this cheese, we both noticed right away when a package we recently bought tasted different than it usually does. We wondered if they had changed their recipe. In fact, I was so curious that I decided to email them. Now, I'll admit that I don't hesitate to voice my complaints to companies when I'm not happy with their services or products, but in this case, I really was just curious. Here's what I sent the Frigo Cheese people:
Hello,
We have been eating your Cheese Heads Light String Cheese daily for over a year. Recently, I purchased the same 16 pack that I always purchase and found the cheese to be quite different from that which we usually enjoy. This cheese seemed to be "drier" and slightly more bitter. I assumed that perhaps we had just gotten a bad batch and threw that pack away however, we found that the pack I picked up at my next trip to the grocery store had the same dry, bitter characteristics. We are wondering, have you changed your Light String Cheese recipe?
Thank you,
Mica

It's okay, I'll accept being labeled as a complainer in the name of free cheese.
With that, I'll take a moment to shamelessly plug Frigo string cheese...we love it and give them two thumbs up for customer service. Thanks Frigo!

Mmmm...friggin'...err...frigo cheese is my favorite.
You should email and "complain" about the batches with imperfect wrapping. It's impossible to get to my Frigo cheese if the top isn't cut correctly!
I just started purchasing this cheese myself and wonder - does it need to be refrigerated or can I leave it in my desk at work for say 8 hours and will it still be ok to eat?
